Forum Design Suggestions

As you already probably noticed, the forum has been constantly changing. What else do you guys think we need for our forum? Sid suggested a news feed, but it will take time to maintain and implement.
Here are some things I will probably do in the future:
-Make a homepage
-Create rank images for the forum
